Library - just the facts

Library Hours: 7:00 - 3:30 Monday thru Friday

• Students are encouraged to use the library during break and lunch time.
• We will be closed after school on early release days and on the day before a holiday begins.
• Students must have a pass from their teacher to be in the library during class time.
• The library is not open for computer usage during SSR time.

Checkout Procedures

• Students are allowed to check out 3 books at a time for 3 weeks with the option to renew if needed.
• Students must have their current school ID to check-out books in the library.
• A fee will be charged to students to replace any lost or damaged books.

Computer and Printing Procedures

• Students must display their current school ID with "Net" sticker in the designated holder above each computer while using the computer. If you need a "Net" sticker please see Mrs. Gaona.
• Computers are for educational use only games are not permitted at any time.
• Students are allowed 3 free prints from their computer per assignment. Students who print more than 3 pages will be charged $0.05 per page. It is the student's responsibility to check and make sure how many pages they have before hitting the print button.
• A copy machine is available in the library for $0.15 per page.
• Students can also make color copies for $0.50 per page.

Students should expect:

• To have a pass to go to the library
• To sign in at the front desk when coming during class time with out a teacher
• To enjoy their snacks and drinks outside in the commons area
• To play computer games somewhere else-not on school computers
• To be courteous to others who are sharing the library space
• To clean up their workspace when they leave
